R-PAS in Multimethod Assessment
Learn how to summarize the R-PAS principles for accurate interpretation, apply R-PAS interpretive procedures and guidelines, utilize the R-PAS results output to make accurate interpretations, integrate R-PAS results with other methods of assessment, conceptualize the cases through the lens of the methods by which they were assessed to formulate the constructs.
Case Studies
Case 1 is “RM” in the R-PAS manual, a single gay man in his mid-20s. In addition to R-PAS, his test results include the WAIS-IV, MMPI-2 (which is also scored for the MMPI-2-RF), and the TAT.
Case 2 is a young heterosexual woman (“NH”) concerned that concussions had affected her memory and IQ. She was tested with a battery of cognitive ability, memory, and achievement tests (WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, CPT-II, WIAT-III) and the TOMM as well as R-PAS and the MMPI-2 (also scored for the MMPI-2-RF).

Continuing Education Credit: Participants are eligible for 8 hours of continuing education credit. The program must be completed in its entirety with a 75% or above on all quizzes. Meet the instructor
Joni L. Mihura, Ph.D., ABAP
Joni L. Mihura, Ph.D., ABAP is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Toledo specializing in psychological assessment and psychosis. She is Board Certified in Assessment Psychology (ABAP). Dr. Mihura received early career awards from both the Society for
Personality Assessment (SPA) and the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA) as well as an SPA award for contributions to the literature. She is a Fellow of SPA, a past President, and Associate Editor of the journal Assessment. She has numerous publications on psychological assessment and is best known for her work with the Rorschach inkblot test—including systematic reviews and meta-analyses of the test’s validity. She is the co-developer of a new
Rorschach system, the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS), for which she presents invited lectures and trainings internationally. She is taking the lead on developing a new Rorschach test specifically to assess psychosis: the Thought and Perception Assessment System (TPAS). She is the co-editor of two books—Using the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) and the Handbook of Gender and Sexuality in Psychological Assessment, and sole editor of The Oxford Handbook of Personality and Psychopathology Assessment.
